The South End: 8th Annual Fashion Week kicks off in Detroit
Local designers featured in fashion shows across city present upcoming wears for 2013

Festivities for Detroit Fashion Week began during the closing events of the Detroit Design Festival, Sept. 23, with a brief fashion show at the Detroit City Airport.
The show consisted of local designers, two of whom, Lyudviga Shneyder, 45, of Birmingham, and Diane Berry, 54, of Detroit, featured some of their designs as a teaser. Festivities on Sept. 26 were at Belle Isle’s Detroit Yacht Club. Attendees were able to view and buy the merchandise of accessory designers such as the Posh’Mina, Temiki Designs and Brianne Faye.
